I completed the Capri pants workshop this week and am really pleased that I actually managed to make them to fit. Thank you Maeri for the expert fitting guidance and the patience of a saint. Your workshops are brilliant as you explain everything so clearly and we take away all the hints and tips to help us with future makes. You also gave me back my sewing confidence and look what I have made over the weekend – a Colette Sorbetto!

In this two-part workshop, we provide everything you need to be able to create your perfect classic pair of black twill trousers using the Colette Clover pattern.

Specific techniques for this workshop we will cover:

-how to alter a pattern for better fitting trousers
-add interfacing to the facing for better structure around the waist
-insert an invisible zipper
-use an overlocker to create a finished fit fast

Skill Level: Enthusiastic Beginner (this is a beginner sewing workshop but you will need to understand basic pattern construction to be able to take this workshop. Our Dressmaking Isn’t Rocket Science is our beginner dressmaking workshop that covers all the information required to confidently move on to this workshop).

Course Availability: This workshop takes place over three half days, both Daytime & Evening sessions.

Fee and what this includes: 89.00 and this includes everything you will need to take this workshop (a £19.00 value) which includes 2 meters of high-quality fabric in black, matching invisible zipper, thread and as well as pattern/instructions (as well as coffee/tea and a homemade snack.
