We have a great free sewing machine lending service here at the Studio and as far as we know, we are the only creative venue that offers free machines that you can borrow to keep you sewing at home. It is a just a little bit of niceness that we like to offer!

We have a library of sewing machines, which we can lend out to those that would like to sew at home but don’t have a sewing machine. These machines were donated to the Studio by people who no longer had a use for them but still wanted them to be used by someone that would appreciate having a machine at their disposal.

They can be lent out for various lengths of time – from one week to three months – and there is no charge for this service.  All that we ask is that you be competent in using a sewing machine (if not, you can take our All You Need to Know to Sew workshop) and make time (approximately half an hour) so that we can show you around the machine you are borrowing.

If you would like to enquire about this service, please use the contact form below for further information and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
