I had tried to make a few simple things using machine embroidery but it never quite looked like the pictures I was using for inspiration which is why I came to your workshop. Your workshop filled in the missing gaps for me, and your tutor Maria was so helpful when I asked more questions as the workshop unfolded. I realised how important the prepping is in order to get the lovely clean look you see in magazines… and now I know exactly how to do it!
“I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the free machine embroidery class this morning it was excellent from the warm welcome I received when I arrived – to the excellent tutoring and the encouragement from the other class members. Your studio is a real gem and full of inspiring ideas. I will definitely be returning for more classes as I am now hooked!
The homemade Brownie was delicious! Thanks again.”
Whether it is exploring the history of hand embroidery and bringing it in to this century with a contemporary take on designing and making your own piece of embroidery or learning learn how to use your machine to create quirky, original pieces, our embroidery workshops are a great place to start.
