SOFT FURNISHINGS WORKSHOPS
“I came to your fantastic Curtain making workshop after my telling my Mum I wanted to make the curtains for my newborn daughter’s bedroom. I tried a few tutorials on-line but I just didn’t seem to get the entire process, and my Mum said she wasn’t able to help either so suggested I look on-line for a workshop. I can’t tell you how happy I am with the results – it does look professional! Anne is an outstanding tutor and she is generous when sharing her knowledge and patient in delivering it. I can’t recommend your workshops enough!”
Our growing list of soft furnishings is not just about being able to add another set of skills to your sewing armoury. It is your chance to shy away from mass-produced soft furnishings and find the perfect fabric that says “this is me!” and ensure that, with the guidance and patience of tutor Anne Sigsworth (owner of Sophie’s Soft Furnishings in Lymm), they look like they were made by a professional.
Anne also shares her tips and tricks that she has acquired in her over 12 years of providing a bespoke soft furnishings service to make sure that you don’t go down the wrong track on the way to making your item. And as we know that these types of workshop require a lot of information delivered in a short about of time, Anne has written detailed notes for all of the courses which will allow you to use them as your safety net for when you return home and start your creative process there. We provide everything you need for each workshop and will also include detailed lists as to where to purchase any items required to tackle your project at home.
