This workshop is for anyone who wants to indulge their creative side, as you do not have to have experience of crafts (or sewing!) because there is no sewing involved!  It is a great workshop to be able to boost your  confidence so that you can get in touch with your inner crafter.
Sarah will be your instructor for this workshop, where you will:
  • Understand the basic construction of the metal frame used to make your drum lampshade.
  • Cut fabric to the required size of lampshade drum.
  • Leave with a fully finished 30 cm drum lampshade ready to be hung from the ceiling or placed on a table.

Note: For the fabric – light to medium weight cotton or crafting cotton is ideal- nothing too silky, embroidered or double-faced please!

Skill Level:  Absolute Beginner

Course Availability: Daytimes & Evenings

Fee and what this includes: 37.00, this includes all items needed to make your lamp shade EXCLUDING fabric.  You will need to purchase a half metre of 45′ wide/114 cm fabric,  coffee/tea and a home made snack.
